1770 Camping Ground, Qld
I had heard good things about the 1770 Camping Ground particularly the sunsets.
The campground atmosphere is a nice break from the caravan parks setting with more of a real camping feeling with the grass/dirt sites. I was on one of the slab sites and the park was very busy and quite full being the NSW school holidays.
This park's attraction is the beach and the atmosphere no jumping pillows or swimming pools they don't need them with a great beach front.
The water is tidal so depending on the tide will depend on how far you have to go to get water.
The bathrooms are clean and tidy.
The sites with a large van are difficult to manoeuvre although hats off to the guy who managed to get his between two trees that would have given him about 1" either side when reversing in.
