Well my first ever adventure into Showgrounds as accommodation. 

I was very impressed and as a single traveller I rarely use any of the caravan parks facilities (particularly with it being winter and the pool not a top spot).  So having the option of just the basics really suited me. 

The caretaker let me choose any site in the area near a powerbox. 

Warning that the sites generally aren't very level but not difficult to sort out. 

The bathrooms are the showgrounds bathrooms and plenty of stalls and well maintained. 

The weather really came in bad so the lack of structure to hide behind in the open was a bit of an issue but overall I was happy with my site and the safety at the showgrounds.  Happy to recommend it to others.
