A lovely beachside setting in a small park away from the hustle and bustle of Mackay central. 

The beach is very tidal which makes a nice morning walk. 

Facilities are pretty good with some unisex small ensuite style toilets near the beach front campsites and a larger bathroom in the middle of the park. 

There is a nightly campfire and happy hour near the pool which is a great way to get to know your fellow guests. 

The sites are full slab meaning a very level site and easy to reverse into. 

Convenient to town you can easily explore the area or rest and relax by the beach. 

Only issue is the drier seems to be lacking power but the weather was good so dried quickly on the line.
