Day 30 – 14/6/2019

Wow already a month on the road!. Then again as I go back over the posts I’ve already had a massive amount of experiences.

Having been in one place for a week I was itching to get going again. I’ve got the setup/set down process well sorted, but I do cheat with a checklist that I keep adding to when I realise I forgot something.

Tonight’s stop is one I went past on my trip over the hills from Armidale, NSW, a little town with a bit of a hippy vibe Bellingen, NSW. They also have a market in the morning so its an extra reason to stop and see what I can pick up for the week ahead.

Staying at the showgrounds its a popular spot with over 30 different van’s, tents, campers all setup for the night and a really good price per night with power and water.

Bellingen Bridge

After setting up it was a quick visit to the nearby craft area located in an old butter factory. There was a leather shop and a wood working shop plus art gallery. Importantly they also have a cafe where I stopped for lunch. Corn Fritters with Bacon, avocado, grilled holloumi and other stuff.

Lunch… Yummy!

Following that it was a quick walk down the main street and some shopping before settling in for the night.

Only a short stop here and back on the road tomorrow, what a great Midlife Adventure.
