Day 21 – 6/6/2019

We close out the third week on the road at another zoo.

The Billabong Zoo is located about 15 minutes out of Port Macquarie, NSW. I had driven past a few times when working in the area but never had the opportunity to stop. It is one of the nice things about this trip is having the time to do all of those things that I normally couldn’t when in an area driving.

Koala and some guy.

They have a good program throughout the day on animal talks and a chance to get close to many of them.

With so many animals to pick from it is easier to present the pictures in a gallery.

Spending a large part of the day walking around the zoo I then headed into Wauchope, NSW and the Cowarra Dam before heading back to North Haven, NSW and Laurieton, NSW where I found a fish and chip shop right on the water (which is always a good sign)

It’s a Midlife Adventure
