Day 35 – 19/6/2019
Heading north from Grafton, NSW it is amazing as you drive around the difference of the scenery when driving. There are a number of state forests in this area and farms along the journey.
Stopping for a drink in a little town with one shop that operates as post office, shop and fuel station in Whipore, NSW I was soon back on the road to Casino, NSW.
Stopping alongside the Richmond River for lunch before heading to a friends place in nearby Yorklea, NSW. It was great spending the night catching up with some friends that I hadn’t seen in around 12 years when they came to New Zealand whilst I was living there.
I’ll be basing myself at their property for the next few days as I continue to explore the region.
