Day 9, 25/5/2019
Starting out the day in Forbes, NSW I made a quick visit to the Forbes Morning Market.
Packing up the caravan I headed north, one of my bucket list items for the trip is the CSIRO Parkes Observatory or better know after the movie as “The Dish”
The information centre offers a very interesting insight into the work done by the centre and the equipment used now and in the past.
I decided whilst there to improve the reception for my phone when I walk around… not sure if this might be an overkill.
Heading onto Dubbo, NSW, I was very excited when I found out that it was the weekend of their annual show. I love a country show, and Dubbo is a big show for the region.
There was plenty to see and do with farm animal judging, arts & crafts, and evening entertainment including fireworks.
Another action packed day and I can guarantee you this beats working!
