Day 13 – 29/05/2019

I really didn’t do a lot today. I left Tooraweenah, NSW around 8. Probably earlier than I would normally do so but I was awake, I was ready to go so I went. Only 179km the journey.

Stopping in Coonabarabran, NSW for a coffee I had a quick look around town, checked my lotto ticket (apparently I didn’t win 30 Million).

Arriving into my town Narrabri, NSW I made sure that I was listening to Tucker’s Daughter by Ian Moss was playing.

On arrival I met the hosts for the park who are a really great young couple. I got my pick of sites at the Narrabri Big Sky Caravan Park and I decided to extend my stay for 2 nights from the originally planned one.

Main Street

As a result of having an extra day in the region I decided to have a quiet day and after a quick drive around town did some shopping. With the cooler weather around at the moment soup is always nice, having finished the Pumpkin soup my mum made before I left set to work to create a Potato, Leak and Bacon soup.

The park has a free BBQ tonight so i’ll head across there at 5, then back to the van for a quiet night.

It’s a Midlife Adventure
