Day 130 – 22/9/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.

The Crocodylus Park is about 20 minutes from the heart of Darwin and about 5 minutes from my Caravan Park.

I upgraded my ticket to include the Jumping Croc boat tour. I have previously been on one of these during a visit to Darwin on the Adelaide River.

Lots of Croc’s

They have a number of pens with no shortage of Saltwater Croc’s, Freshwater Crocs and American Alligators.

Freshwater Croc’s

The easiest way to spot a freshwater croc over a salt water is that you’re still around to notice it… they have a long thin mouth but if annoyed will still make you regret it!.

Cassowary

They have a large selection of animals including, Tiger, Lion, Meerkat, Ostrich and Monkeys.

It was then time to watch some Crocodiles being fed.

Here is a video of the Croc School having a feed.

Then it was off to the croc tour waiting area where they have some snakes to entertain you.

Then it was time to head out on the boat

We were introduced to a number of the croc’s from some on the bank cause they get pushed around by the dominant other croc in the area.

Then it was time to move on and I finished my day at the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets, a famous seaside market with lots of food options and some other various bits and pieces.

So another day wraps on this Midlife Adventure.
