Day 127 – 19/9/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.
Moving on from Katherine, NT the town was quickly behind me and the push to Darwin, NT began.
Not much to say from the 317km it’s up and down hills and you can definitely notice this increase in traffic compared to the last couple of months.
Stopping in to give the caravan a bath at the car wash it was getting too dirty as it hasn’t seen rain in quite a while.
After setting up at the Discovery Darwin Caravan Park I headed into the city for a drive around.
Arriving at the harbour area as this was my arrival point on my last journey here in 2017 on a cruise ship.

Stopping in for a late lunch I enjoyed the waterfront area, it has some restaurants and a protected swimming area.

They also have a wave pool that does cost to enter.

From there it was off to the Information Centre to discover what I should do during my time in Darwin, NT although was not impressed that parking at a tourist information centre was paid parking, hardly inviting.
Then with the wind picking up and the temp still at a hearty 33 deg I had a restful afternoon on this Midlife Adventure.
