Day 102 – 25/8/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.
It was an early start today with the fog still rising on the Atherton Tablelands.
With the car issues from the other day it meant that I had to be in Townsville, Qld for Monday morning so 550km through to Charters Towers, Qld was the plan for the day.
Passing Innot Hot Springs, somewhere I would have liked to have stayed I kept going.

The only stop for the day was in Greenvale, Qld where there is a campground and service station, not much else and it was back on the road.

Arriving into Charters Towers around 3pm I got setup and joined some of the campsite for the $15 roast dinner which was excellent and provided heaps to eat. It was accompanied by some great music.

The nearby Drive In Cinema was hosting a double feature of Fast and Furious and Yesterday.

I hadn’t been to a drive in since I was probably 10 years old in Adelaide at what is now a home makers centre.
Well time to get to bed from another busy day on this Midlife Adventure.
