Day 72 – 26/7/2019 on this Midlife Adventure
It was a slow morning after a big night celebrating Christmas but I am getting pretty good at packing up and moving on and have it down to about 30 mins.
The journey today continued up the Bruce Highway through towns of Bowen, Qld and Home Hill, Qld.
One of the landmarks on the journey was the Big Mango. I’m still underwhelmed with the size of these big things compared to the Big Rocking Horse and Big Lobster etc that really are huge.
Then I arrived in Townsville, Qld
Settling in at the Coral Coast Tourist Park I then went for a drive around town and had a look down the waterfront.
As a big town I am sure I will explore more during the next few days before I head off on this Midlife Adventure.
