Day 100 – 23/08/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.
Well that’s an amazing milestone to me that this journey started 100 days ago. Each day is different and new experiences amazing me, having time to read books and learn new things and challenge myself in different ways.
The journey today is a little easier to the nearby town of Ravenshoe, Qld with absolutely no plan.
The first place I find to stop is the Millaa Millaa Lookout.
There was also a nearby windfarm, where one of the turbines must have caught fire and work was being done ready to replace it. That would be quite a sight that far up on fire.
From there it was into Ravenshoe, Qld for a look around town.
A walk down main street to the train station.
The train station also runs as a low cost caravan park.
The Ravenshoe Hotel is Queensland’s Highest Pub so added to the most Northern pub I’ve been to the one at the highest elevation.
Then it was back to the caravan park to do some much needed laundry from my Cape York trip.
So another day comes to an end on this monumental 100th day on a Midlife Adventure.
