Day 48 – 2/7/2019
Today was reserved for some more TLC for the Prado, with the Alternator an issue I was advised about before leaving Adelaide and with a lot of open road ahead I wanted to get it sorted whilst in a major population area. There is a wind down motor that the bearings had started to go. Through some research I found AutoElectrics Qld located in Woombye, Qld who had me sorted in no time.
They were very efficient and I was back touring by 10am, that was great as they are just down the road from the Big Pinapple, another Big thing to add to my list.
One a location dedicated to all things pineapple, the majority of the site has now been developed into a Zoo, and they hold a festival on the grounds.
With a bit of time it was off to Mooloolaba, Qld and a walk along the beach, the weather was nice at times when the sun could peak through, still can spot the tourists vs the locals the tourists are in shorts and the locals think its cold.
I found my way to the seafood market and purchased some fresh prawns… monster prawns!
These cooked up pretty nicely.
What a yummy Midlife Adventure this is.
