Day 101 – 24/8/2019 on a Midlife Adventure

It’s the Weekend!. Which really doesn’t mean that much when you don’t actually work.

Heading into Yungaburra, Qld it was nice to look around this little town.

However it means that markets are on and back in the swing of things I’m off to see whats there.

My take from the market was just some local macadamia’s and an apple pie. There was some interesting art and some great looking coffee tables but with no room for them I kept walking.

At the edge of town is a Platypus lookout.

A short walk along the creek and I found some Platypus swimming around.

I was able to film one coming up for a breath.

After spending some time with them I headed out to Tinaroo, Qld where there is a large lake.

What I didn’t know was that it was actually a dam.

They spray the water out of the dam it is a lot of pressure coming out of that spot and you can feel and hear it.

The area is part of a National Park and I took the drive around the entire lake.

All before returning to base for my last night in the Atherton Tablelands region.

So the journey continues on this Midlife Adventure.
