Day 267 – 7/2/2020 on a Midlife Adventure.

Packing up from Elliston, SA I was quickly on the road and moving south to continue my journey around South Australia.

On the way down there aren’t many towns however there is this old Eating house that serviced the old horse/carts that used to travel this path.

There is some lakes dotted along the road and some salt lakes.

Then pretty soon I was arriving into Coffin Bay, SA.

After setting up it was time to explore the town.

Coffin Bay

A group were enjoying fresh oysters out on the racks, can’t get any fresher than that. I have over the last few years trying to get into oysters more as they aren’t all that bad but I am limited at having a couple before I stop enjoying them so a feast of them is a bit beyond me right now… maybe one day.

The lookout either needs a platform so you can see over the trees or sorry greenies… less trees!.

Heading back into town I find some friendly locals who came out to say hello.

The boat ramp is used to launch the oyster boats which go out daily to bring in and set new pots.

For dinner I drop into the pub and enjoy a nice meal and some beers ready for a good nights rest before continuing the journey tomorrow on this Midlife Adventure.
