Day 263 – 3/2/2020 – I did my washing and stayed at the caravan park for the day relaxing… it’s nice to have a break. My travel companion across the Nullarbor also headed off to continue his journey home.
Day 264 – 4/2/2020 on a Midlife Adventure
Today I hit the road north and back up the coast. There were a number of turn offs towards the coast that I didn’t stop into on the way into Streaky Bay so I decided to go for a drive and see what was out there that I’d missed.

Smoky Bay is a small fishing town about 40km south of Ceduna, SA. With a jetty and a caravan park it is a very quiet down at this time of year.
During my walk down the jetty I found some people trying their luck with some fishing, they didn’t seem to be having that much luck but there was a supporter for any spare fish that might come his way.

Heading out from Smoky Bay I made my way to Haslam, SA.

This is a oyster farming town with many farms setup here to maintain their leases. A jetty also is there.

The stop there wasn’t very long and I was back on the road and arrived into Perlubie, SA.

The main thing about this town was is that it has cheap beach camping (unpowered) available on the beach. This would be fun with a group of people as there is some shelters you can stay under.

On the road out this little critter was sunning himself, I tried to stay out of his way.

Moving down the coast I arrived into EBA Anchorage.

This town is mainly just holiday homes.
So back to the caravan park for a good nights rest on this Midlife Adventure.
