20/2/2020 on a Midlife Adventure
The travels for the 20th continue but with so much to see each place needed its own post.
This is grain growing country and the harvest has been completed so it is a really baron landscape.
Arriving into Terowie, SA Once the change over point between narrow and broad gage train lines this was a thriving hub where people would transit through, however with the broad gage being continued through to Peterborough the town effectively became a ghost town and as a result many of the buildings were preserved.
I really like the town as it is a snapshot of the 1800’s and a really slow pace of life here these days. So the journey continues on this Midlife Adventure.
