Day 178 – 9/11/2019 on a Midlife Adventure at Sea

Today is Isle of Pines in New Caledonia, as with the other ports I had been here before and know that the snorkelling is very good here.

So I head across on a tender an easier process with the Concierge Lounge staff helping me beat the queue.

They have new docking facilities here which is great and makes the arrival process so much easier.

On the beach side it is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the market stalls.

You can pick up some crayfish and other local delicacies to enjoy whilst you sun bake.

I was heading for this island to do some snorkelling where a reef surrounds the entire island with some great fish to be found.

After some snorkelling I headed back to the swimming side of the island to enjoy a rest before going back to the ship.

Isle of Pines

With the Radiance of the Seas going in for some refurbishments in the next year I was aware that one of the resturants on board was going to be retired the Samba Grill.

So I headed there for a great meal.

All whilst enjoying an amazing sunset.

So another great day spent visiting the south pacific on this Midlife Adventure.
