Day 146 – 8/10/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.
The temp has come down a little but the humidity is rising. This is the joy of the build up to the wet season.
Today it was time to get in and tour the actual Broome, WA city region.

So off on the Broome Tramway Co’s Historical Tour.
Heading out at 10am we made our way past the old court house and current prison.

We went past some of the original homes that the Pearl Boat masters lived in and past some of the churches from the area.

Going past the statue of the Woman Diver.

We went past the museum where we had a quick stop before heading back into town and the Chinatown precinct.

The tour ran for about an hour and was very informative and a great way to get to know more about Broome, including some information on the Japanese bombing during WWII.

I then went for a walk around town.

Stopping by Australia’s oldest outdoor cinema (that now makes the oldest and 2nd oldest visited).

Dropping into the pub for a drink, it is important to keep your fluids up in the high humidity.

Then down the remaining Streeter’s Jetty to check out any croc’s in the area.

Before heading out to the Port area and a quick bite for lunch.

I then headed out to Gantheaume Point to the rock pool and enjoyed some time looking out to sea thinking.

I then headed back onto the beach and relaxed there before heading off to the pub for a Tuesday night special.
So another day comes to a close on this Midlife Adventure here in Broome, WA.
