Day 239 – 10/1/2020 on a Midlife Adventure

The trip to Cape Leeuwin, WA takes you through Augusta, WA a lovely little town.

The Cape Leeuwin lighthouse was a tough life for those early settlers that used to run the lighthouse and the museum tells you the story of some of their lives.

From here you can see where the two oceans meet and its some very turbulent waters.

This is also the most South Westerly spot in WA.

There is of course a lighthouse here and whilst you can do a tour that walks to the top, I didn’t.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse

The original town had a water supply from a nearby spring.

Very interesting is the cow looking out to keep everyone safe… Not sure how they train it to do it but its also looking the wrong way… so I wouldn’t be relying on it.

So with another milestone achieved I continue along on this Midlife Adventure.
