Day 137 – 29/9/2019 on a Midlife Adventure.
On the outskirts of town is the Mirima National Park and one of my first chances to use my annual parks pass.

With the temp hitting 30 degrees at 9am it’s hard to get much done without the heat of the day upon you, so of course I lug my very fit self to the top of a hill just to get these pictures.

It actually was a nice view from up there and the path that has been created makes the journey a little easier.

The view to the North is through a valley towards the Ord River.

The view towards the south you can see the car park, that little dot in the middle left side is my car.

The top of the hills are also pretty interesting.

And the view back towards Kununurra, WA.
So all this exercise completed and my heart rate returning to normality I head down to the Pump House Restaurant on the Lake Kununurra.
Arriving between their breakfast and lunch service I had to chill out which was easy with the pumphouse brew on tap.

Being the Sunday of a long weekend here in Perth everything is taking a quiet pace and a number of people were out on the water enjoying themselves. I however was entertained by the Catfish.

Well that was until my lunch arrived and satisfied a well deserved spot filled by these crab cakes.

Then it was back to the caravan park to have a swim and relax the day away on my last day here in Kununurra, WA.
So a relaxing Sunday was definitely enjoyed after some busy weeks on this Midlife Adventure.
